Exploring the Journey of a Coffee Machine with Ling Liang Church E Wun Secondary School
On 12th February 2026, Tunbow had the pleasure of welcoming a group of Form 4 students from Ling Liang Church E Wun Secondary School for an immersive Workplace Visit at our headquarters. Our aim was to offer a behind-the-scenes look at modern manufacturing and show how creativity, business strategy, and sustainability come together to create the home appliances used around the world.
Under the theme, "Exploring the Journey of a Coffee Machine – From Idea to Sales and Sustainable Development," the students spent the afternoon touring our facilities and learning from our team. The event started with a warm welcome and a fun, interactive session. Our Deputy Company Secretary, Ms. Zoe Fan, engaged the students with a coffee knowledge quiz before diving into the core of our business. Our Assistant Sales Manager, Ms. Tracy Xie, then led an insightful discussion on the differences between B2B and B2C markets, the meaning of OEM and ODM, and the unique challenges of selling in domestic markets compared to navigating the complex standards of international trade.
The tour continued to our R&D centre—the heart of our innovation. Our Testing Engineer, Mr. Cheng Tai-an, guided the students through the journey from concept to prototype. The students observed our reliability testing area and took part in an interactive testing procedure, gaining hands-on insight into product development.
The visit concluded with a discussion on our ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) practices, highlighting our commitment to responsible manufacturing.
Post-event survey results showed that the students found real value in the experience, particularly in understanding the practical side of business and technology. We were thrilled to see such curiosity and engagement from the students.
At Tunbow, we are proud to open our doors and help young people explore future career paths in manufacturing and beyond. A huge thank you to the teachers and students of Ling Liang Church E Wun Secondary School for spending the afternoon with us!
