TUNBOW Chief Executive Officer Dr. Connie Cheng is presented the "Medal of Honor" (MH)

Tunbow Group's Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Connie Cheng is included in this year's HKSAR Government Honors List for the award of the Medal of Honor (abbreviated as "MH") by virtue of her contribution to the society and her selfless dedication.

The Medal of Honor (MH) is part of the honor system in Hong Kong. It was established in 1997 to recognize those who devoted in community service in a district or in a particular area for a long period of time. It may also be awarded to non-directorate civil servants for serving with distinction. A total of 283 people are included in this year's Honors List to receive the different awards, including GBM, GBS, SBS and the Medal of Honor, among which 76 were awarded Medal of Honor in recognition of the important contribution they made to Hong Kong and their efforts and commitment to serving the community.

Dr. Cheng has been spending a lot of time and resources in community service and charitable activities. She held a number of positions in different organizations in the community. She joined the Board of Directors of Yan Oi Tong in 2007 and later served as the Chairperson during the 34th Term in 2013. She is currently a supervisor and manager of numerous kindergartens and schools to actively promote educational development in Hong Kong. Dr. Cheng is also a member of the Hong Kong Eye Hospital Governing Committee and Kowloon Hospital Governing Committee; and the Vice President of Tuen Mun District Fire Safety Ambassador Honorary President Association, the committee member of the Organizing Committee of Family-Friendly Employers Award Scheme (Family Council) etc.
